I am not going to be around for a little bit, not sure how long.
Mom and I went to work our store this past Saturday as dad was not feeling well (it was his weekend, we take turns) and when we got home Saturday night I found him in his chair, evidently he had a massive heart attack without warning and passed on.
So as I am between chores on my to do list I am jotting something down to send to my groups

Journey to a New Start ch 15 the end

Chapter 15
Harry felt like he was floating, moving around slightly he heard the sounds of something like water hitting against the sides of a tub, just like he would if he splashed water when his ears were underwater.
Opening his eyes the first thing he noticed was the golden glow surrounding him right before he felt the pure energy that was swirling around him. Realizing he was in the last ditch survival repair unit he had created during the height of the war Harry closed his eyes and searched his memories trying to find out what had happened.
Hearing the odd echo’s of voices coming from somewhere near to where he was the events of the day before came rushing back to him.
Slowly extending his right hand to a set of hidden control crystals Harry pushed several of them in sequence and listened to the report.
“Core breach repaired…Sixteen new channels stabilized…Healing cycle complete.” The musical voice echoed through the liquid.
Shite, bloody hell I need to learn to control my rage better so this never happens again Harry thought as he entered another sequence of commands into the crystals, causing the liquid magic to slowly be returned to the lake deep under the compound.
Going over in his mind all the theories he had come up with on what could happen by being immersed in pure magic as his core healed Harry started to stretch and try to feel every part of his body to see if he noticed a change.
Brushing his hand along his hip as he started to move around he stopped and then grabbed at his skin as he noticed that his clothing had disappeared. Great he though, how much do you want to bet that Amathal is standing outside the energy case around the bed.
Lifting his head Harry noticed that he was taller and more filled out, raising his hand to look at it he saw an adult hand hovering in front of his face. Seems like I finally grew up, a little quicker than I expected but at least I don’t look like a twelve year old anymore.
Returning his hand to the control crystals he made the energy case opaque and high enough so he could sit up as the last of the magic drained away.
Giving himself a thorough examination now that he could sit up Harry turned part of the case into a mirror surface with a thought, which surprised him at how easy it was, and gazed at the strong features of an eighteen or nineteen year old staring back at him.
Turning his head to the side Harry smiled as he saw that he had lost some of the features that all Potter men seemed too inherit. So now as an adult no one will try to compare me to any of the Potters any more as I no longer look like them. After that thought though he was saddened knowing that part of his heritage had been erased.
Conjuring some clothes, which appeared on his body Harry released the energy case and swung his legs over the side of the bed and looked around for his belt, wondering where the bed had deposited it.
Eyes widening when he saw that his belt had changed to a blood red color and it was laying on the side table within easy reach Harry stood up and belted it on, now feeling a little more secure.
Ignoring everyone that was in the room Harry concentrated on controlling the magical glow that was surrounding his body, trying to bring it back into the invisible range.
After ten minutes of him standing with his eyes closed as he got a handle on his new power levels Harry opened his eyes to see the concerned looks of over a dozen Elf’s crowding into the small room.
Smiling to show that he was alright, Harry told them. “I’m fine now. Though I am going to have to work on my rage issues a little bit.”
Snorting Saero blurted out. “A little, Mytimah you are a master of understatement any other Elf that suffered a core breach like you did would have died. Though I want copies of all your research notes and access to your potions library the things you come up with simply amaze me.”
Harry blinked wondering what the bloody hell happened now and slowly told him being very careful how he chose his words as he was not going to loose control of his library too. “Well you can ask Toby to bring you any tome you wish to study, you do know that don’t you?”
Chuckling Saero teased. “Don’t worry Mytimah I am not trying tot take over your library, Valar knows I would hate to hear constant muttering coming from you about loosing control of your precious library.”
“Feeling better now Trava’in.” Harry smiled at him as he turned his head to see the threesome standing there including a very young elf.
“Thank you for giving our son back to us Mytimah, I am in your debt.” Trava’in told him with a slight bow.
Harry waved the thanks off. “I did what anyone would have done, nothing special to be thanked for, after all I spent the last sixteen hours healing while Saero and Floxy brewed the potion.”
Shaking his head in amusement remembering that Koeh’avara had pegged him correctly he brought his son around to the front and introduced him. “Mytimah may I introduce you to my son Ithlam.”
Placing his hands on his sons shoulder he leaned over and told him. “Ithlam this is the Lord of the Fourth Kingdom, Mytimah Na Arkenea’ghymn.”
Ithlam stared at Harry in awe before finally stammering out. “You glow in such pretty colors.”
Laughing at the lads statement Harry was quick to offer reassurances when he noticed the worried stares coming from the lads parents. “Trava’in it’s alright your son is a mage, or will be when he trains up.”
The worried looks were quickly replaced with looks of pride as Trava’in pulled his son into a hug.
Chuckling at the lads muffled mutters of embarrassment Harry told them. “I don’t know about any of you but I could use a good meal and Aerma looks asleep on his feet, so why don’t we go to the dining room for…”
Checking the clock on the wall Harry picked up where he left off. “Lunch while those needing to get some rest do so.”
Stopping near Aerma’s side Harry placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed and told him in a quiet voice. “Thank you for guarding me, now go get some sleep, no training today.”
After a filling meal Harry sat back and ate his dessert while listening in to the conversations around him, giving him a good idea of what had been going on while he was healing.
After most had left the table and Ar’Nes had escorted Ithlam from the table to give him a tour of the school, it left only the four lords of the kingdoms.
Koeh’avara started the conversation. “Yesterday after you were placed in that healing state we called a council to discuss Albus Dumbledore and what you had told us of events in your world. Between all of us we were able to put together a pretty good picture of what your old world was like and how it evolved.”
“We voted amongst ourselves and the three of us are in agreement that Albus Dumbledore must not be allowed to run around trying to bring the magical world into compliance with his vision of the greater good.” Trava’in told him as he watched for any emotions to cross that so hard to read face of the fourth Lord.
“It was agreed that we would send out some of our guards to capture this Dumbledore person and we would remove the gift of magic.” Saero told him softly.
“I even went to one of our best seers this morning and asked her to concentrate on Dumbledore and what changes to the world would take place due to his vision of the greater good now that Voldemort is gone, and while you will be happy to know that the world will not be destroyed I think we can all agree that having him refocus his efforts to get rid of our people would not be a good thing.” Koeh’avara told them sternly.
“What did she see Koeh’avara that has you so upset?” Questioned Trava’in.
“She saw that in ten years if nothing was done to stop this wizard we would be the only magical race left on this planet.” Koeh’avara replied in a small voice.
Shocked Harry dropped his fork on the table as he heard those damning words spoken. There was no way in hell we would allow his family from this world be destroyed because some old coot had dreams of grandeur.
Saero seeing and feeling the magic swirling around Mytimah at the end of the table shouted. “MYTIMAH CONTROL YOURSELF, before you end up in that damn healing contraption again.”
Taking several deep calming breaths Harry said solemnly. “He can not be allowed to continue.”
“The vote is unanimous, Dumbledore must be dealt with and if removing his magic does not stop that man then he must be put to death.” Harry sounded horrified yet at the same time unyielding.
Creating parchment and pen Harry quickly wrote out a note summoning Harold Potter and Orion Black before calling out for Tinky to deliver it.
Staring at the wall for several minutes Harry quickly wrote out another note and sent it with Blinky before standing up.
“I think we should move this discussion to the Warrior’s Hall, while we wait for both Potter and Black to show up.” Harry informed them as the others nodded their head in agreement and followed him out of the dining room.
Standing in a semi circle in the center of the training hall Harry and the other Lords were lost in their own thoughts as those that had been doing some personal training stopped and noticed the grim expressions on the faces of the four lords and swiftly summoned all four of the kingdoms warriors.
Forty minutes later Harold and Orion were escorted into the training hall for the emergency meeting and barely held control of their emotions as they noticed the several hundred warriors dressed for battle standing behind the four pensive Lords who seemed very lost in their own thoughts.
In the back of his mind Harry had recognized all the warriors that were gathering while they waited for the two men to show up.
Finally Harry looked up when he felt the presence of the two they were waiting for walk into the room.
“They’re here.” Harry said low enough only the other three could hear him.
Before anyone said any thing Blinky walked into the room and placed several crystals pointing towards the wall and activated them projecting the Wizengamot chambers onto the back wall.
Madam Marchbanks paled when the crystal on the floor of the Wizengamot chamber started to project the image of several hundred High Ones in battle gear standing behind four other High Ones who were facing Black and Potter.
Quickly moving to the front of the tables the Minister for Magic cleared her throat and asked. “High Ones we are honored by your presence today, how may we serve you?”
Glancing over his shoulder when he heard the minister’s voice Harold gulped in fear when he saw the image of the Wizengamot chambers behind him.
Stepping forward Harry glared at the minister before saying. “This council is now in session, Before we begin I wish to inform you that yesterday the person known as Thomas Marvelo Riddle who went by the name Voldemort invaded my kingdom and was utterly destroyed including the four Horcrux’s he had created. We now meet to deal with the problem caused by Albus Dumbledore.”
Koeh’avara stepped forward and spoke. “With the death of Voldemort the greatest threat to the magical world now rest solely on the shoulders of one Albus Dumbledore, his fanatical view of what he considers the greater good sets the stage for the complete annihilation of your world.”
Now standing near the others Trava’in spoke up. “For too long have we ignored those we gave the gift of magic to assuming they were mature enough to handle the gift wisely, but you still do not know what evil you can do through fear and ignorance.”
The last to step forward Saero joined his voice with the others. “Albus Dumbledore poses a threat like no other, and his fanatical crusade to make war on our people can only lead to the destruction of the magical world. For that reason this council in unanimous agreement has decreed that Albus Dumbledore shall suffer the death of magic.”
Harry let some of his power show through and traced the runes on his belt transforming before the fear filled eyes of the human wizard into a Blood Mage. “You have twenty four hours to capture and bring Albus Dumbledore before this council for sentencing before I unleash our warriors on your world to root out the problem.”
Totally shocked at the new transformation of the Fourth Lord into a completely new type of armor and the power that was rolling off of his calm proud visage, every warrior present fell to one knee and loudly proclaimed. “SO MOTE IT BE!”
Harry was the only one that noticed the Goblin representatives that were standing along one wall, almost out of sight, shaking in fright as they listened to the most frightening thing they had ever seen.
Motioning with his head for Blinky to turn off the projectors Harry let his gaze fall to the two frightened men in front of him. “As vassals of the Fourth Kingdom it is my duty as Lord to notify you to prepare for war. Call those that call you Liege Lord and protect the children at your school.”
“If we did not take the actions we did this day, our seers assure us that Albus Dumbledore would cause the total destruction of every magical creature save ourselves within ten years.” Koeh’avara told them gently.
“We will not allow this to happen. We could of course recall all magical creature to our protected lands and let you kill yourselves off, but Lord Arkenea’ghymn thinks you are worthy of the effort.” Trava’in told them.
“See that his trust in not misplaced gentlemen.” Saero added before telling them. “Return to your school and call your people to protect the children.”
Harold following Orion’s example fell to one knee and bowed his head and told them, “As my Lords command so shall it be done.” Before rising and following Orion out of the hall, once past the doors they quickly ran back to the array to travel back to Hogwarts.
Appearing back on Hogwarts grounds Harold faced Orion and told him. “You know Albus’s brother is just as fanatically loyal to his brother we should include him in the plans to capture Albus to head off any future problems.”
Holding up his hands for the summoning Orion told him. “I agree and the sooner we summon every one the sooner we can capture those two.”
Placing his hands against Harold’s the two started to glow as they started to summon the families.
I Summon the Conclave to War
Before the bell tolls noon
Those that have sworn and oath to me
I summon thee to Hogwarts gate
So Mote It Be
Breaking apart as the glow faded the two quickly moved to the gate to wait for their call to be answered.
Minerva who had just sat down in the great hall for lunch stiffened in shock as she felt the call of her Liege Lord through the magic of the liege bond declaring war against Albus. Dropping her goblet in shock as she cried out, “Albus how could you have gone this far?”
All around Europe wizards and witches stopped what they were doing and tilted their head as if hearing an unseen conversation, most had fear then anger cross their face as the apparated or port keyed away.
As more and more people started to appear near the gates of Hogwarts Orion turned to Harold and told him. “There is enough here to go grab Albus now, why don’t you secure the castle and maybe if we are lucky this whole thing can be over before supper.”
Orion quickly telling the group of men that were nervously gripping their wands what was going on and the danger that the Dumbledore brother’s posed to their world and how if they did not handle it quickly the high Ones were prepared to send in troops to fix the problem.
Leading the way at a brisk jog back to Hogsmeade, Orion and his hastily assembled troops met up with a contingent of Aurors and Unspeakables led by the minister on their way to Boars head where Albus had his office.
“Fancy meeting you here Orion.” Millicent the Minister for Magic sneered, then chuckled, “I should have expected it really after seeing you stand before the High ones Council.”
Shrugging his shoulder he simply told her. “Harold and I declared familial war on Albus and his brother not more than half an hour ago. For the safety of our world we decided not to take any chances.”
Millicent was shocked and tried her best not to let it show, declaring Familial war on another family was still legal, though most had forgotten of its existence.
“So how do you want to play this out then?” Millicent asked curious on his answer.
“I can stun with a touch now, so I think if the Unspeakables emplace port key and Apparation wards while the rest surround the building slowly. There is enough of us to flood the building with people so they do not escape, and if we go in a few at a time for a drink or lunch we should be able to catch them unawares.”
The head Unspeakable stopped the procession with his raised hand and his words. “Minister there is a detection ward several meters in front of us, if you give us five minutes we should be able to erect the wards you want outside of the others so they do not know anything is wrong.”
“Do it.” Millicent ordered as she watched her people spread out and start casting the preparatory spells needed to anchor the wards being erected too.
“Since I have the better mind shields and Albus has been known to be more nosy then is allowable I shall go in under the guise of trying to get him to see reason, while you come in after me and distract his brother.” Orion told the minister his plan while turning to point out several people.
“You lot just volunteered to go have some lunch, if need be use any and every spell you know to take both of them down.” Orion told his grim faced men.
Waiting to hear the all clear Orion walked through the wards towards the pub and opened up the door to the Shadow filled pub.
Stopping in front of Aberforth Orion asked. “Is Albus in, I think we need to clear the air now that Voldemort is dead.”
Aberforth stopped polishing the glass he was holding in shock and stuttered out. “The Dark lord is dead…how?”
Shrugging his shoulders Orion replied. “He snuck into the High Ones Library and made the mistake of throwing a temper tantrum, they killed him.”
Moving to the steps Aberforth yelled up. “Albus you better get down here, the dark lord has been killed off.”
The sounds of something hitting the floor could be heard along with the panicked shout of “What.”
“What’s this about Aberforth/” Albus demanded as he stepped into the main pub.
Pointing towards Orion, Aberforth told him. “This one came in to talk to you, and told me the dark lord is dead.”
Glaring at The man like he smelled something offensive Albus spat out. “What are you on about Orion, what fancy tricks are you trying to pull now?”
Shaking his head at Albus’s paranoia Orion sadly told him. “No tricks Albus, Voldemort was killed yesterday when he somehow snuck into one of the High ones libraries and threw a tantrum, they killed him for it.”
Shaking his head Albus told him. “That’s not possible, Voldemort took steps to make sure he could not be vanquished.”
Smirking at Albus’s know it all attitude Orion shocked him. “You mean the four Horcrux’s he had created? Seems they were able to follow the threads of magic leading from his soul to the objects and summoned them and destroyed them.”
Stumbling in shock at his carefully laid out plans came to a screeching halt Albus fell against the bar near enough to Orion that he was able to reach out with his non wand hand to steady him and stun him.
Concentrating on the falling man Orion missed the action when the Minister strode though the door and saw Aberforth hesitate as he raised his wand and stunned him.
Motioning for his men to bind the two, Orion quickly searched them for hidden magical objects and pocketed them along with their wands.
“All right you lot, one of the access points to the Fourth Kingdom is not far from here, so Greengrass run up to the school and tell Potter what happened and that we are going to take the brothers Dumbledore to the High Ones Council for Judgment.” Orion ordered as he removed his wand and stunned both men again before casting a Mobilcorpus on them.
“Make sure some one has a hold of both of them at all times in case they have a hidden port key or something, if you find your self alone with either of them and not with me KILL them before they wake up.” Orion ordered harshly over the Ministers protests.
Making their way quickly through the forest to the array without problem Orion made sure everyone that had followed him were within the pylons before muttering the words sanctuary three under his breath.
XXX
Nodding his head in agreement Harold told him, “Be careful I would hate to explain to your son why his father is not coming home.”
Back in the Hall of Warriors Saero looked over to where Mytimah was standing not releasing his combat suit and grew worried. “Mytimah do you think we should stand down it will be some time before the humans capture Dumbledore.”
Shaking his head Harry told him with a smile. “I need to learn to control my emotions while in armor that responds to the slightest change in my magic. Plus it won’t be long before Black and Potter are back with Dumbledore.”
Letting his curiosity out Koeh’avara asked. “Speaking of armor, why is yours different from the last time you wore it?”
Sighing Harry replied ending in a whisper. “Because I now have access to more magic than before, and I am a Blood Mage.”
Before any other questions could be asked Blinky popped in front of Harry and told him. “Sir Emerald Eyes the wizards are back and have two sleeping people with them all tied up.”
“Thank you Blinky, Good Job.” Harry smiled down at the beaming house elf before turning and glancing over his shoulder towards his guards.
Seeing his Lord look in their direction Aerma who was supposed to be asleep ordered his people to move out and take control of the humans that were in their lands.
Several minutes later the Witches and wizards were led through the outside doors into the Hall of Warriors and motioned for the humans to stand opposite of the four Lords.
Seeing the questioning look on the Lords faces as they gazed at the two bound men Orion offered an explanation. “Albus’s brother is fanatically loyal to him, it is better to be safe than sorry and we brought him along just in case he could not be made to see reason.”
Nodding his head Saero spoke up. “Wake them up Orion Black.”
Raising his hand Harry encased the two in a magic null zone that would stop any type of magical spell or device to work within it as he watched the two wake and struggle to their knees.
Not giving the headmaster a chance to say anything Harry took the few steps necessary to reach the two and touched both their foreheads at the same time telling them. “Albus Dumbledore you are here before the council of the Four Kingdoms to see what your so called vision of the greater good of Wizarding kind will lead to.”
Pouring all the pain and anguish he had gone through into both men Harry showed him how Albus had sunk so far from the ideals he spouted all in the name of the greater good, Fifteen minutes later after the final vision of the world in ruins with no survivors Harry stepped back as both men fell to the floor and Albus was sick.
Banishing the vomit with a disdainful flick of his fingers Harry stepped back to allow the two to regain their composure before they continued.
Grasping at straws, knowing his vision could not be that wrong and thinking it a trick Albus spat out defiantly. “That future is no longer possible with the death of Voldemort, nice try but you have not convinced me to change my mind.”
Koeh’avara stepped forward prepared to share the vision he had received from the seers and asked as he touched both men. “What gives you the right to decide what type of future magical people should follow? See what will happen now that Voldemort is dead.”
Not being decades worth of death and destruction it only took several minutes before Koeh’avara let go and stepped back.
Unsettled Albus cursed loud enough for the others to hear. “Bloody hell, I can still fix this, all I have to do is neutralize these bloody so called high ones.”
Shaking his head sadly Harry knew the man was demented, and this was the proof. Clicking open the compartment that held the crystal he used for war Harry pulled a long slender black one out and approached the kneeling form of a man that had betrayed him badly in another world.
“Albus Dumbledore I can not let you follow through on your demented plans.” Harry told him sadly as his magic pulled the old man to his feet and ripped the top of his robes off leaving his chest bare.
Holding the black crystal that was shimmering in the light in front of him Harry told him as he plunged the crystal deep into Albus’s chest. “I would have been satisfied leaving you enough magic to live out your life in obscurity, but your own words damn you.”
Harry released his magic hold on Albus allowing him to fall to the floor convulsing in agony as his magic was destroyed as he stepped over in front of Aberforth and raised him up from the floor in the same manner.
Placing his hand back in the compartment to choose one of the two types of crystals contained there Harry glared at Albus’s brother before asking. “Aberforth Dumbledore, brother to Albus choose your words wisely do you swear on your magic, such as it will be allowed to remain to give up your brothers demented dream that leads to death and destruction, or do you follow your brother in death?”
Ripping open the top of Aberforth’s robes with a thought Harry waited for an answer.
Gazing down at the still form of his older brother Aberforth sobbed. “Albus what happened to you, the things you convinced me to do for the greater good, the people you had me kill.”
Looking into the emotionless face, what he could see of it through the mask Aberforth sobbed out tears running down his face. “For my crimes I don’t deserve to live, I chose to join my brother and maybe in the afterlife I can make it up to those I wronged. I can not live with these horrific visions of my brother’s ideal future.”
Puling out the slender black crystal and stunning the man Harry simply said, “So be it.” as he plunged the crystal deep into Aberforth’s chest and allowed him to fall limply to the ground.
Turning his back on the assembled witches and wizards Harry’s words chilled their hearts. “It is past time that you children grow up and learn to be responsible adults. Your dark lord is dead, your savior of the so called light was really a demented old man who would have caused just as much destruction.”
Deactivating his combat suit and returning to his normal clothes Harry strode for the door leading outside. “I am tired at your bickering, your obsessive personalities, of your belittling any race that is not human or magical as not good enough to associate with you.”
Stopping at the door Harry stared at the waterfall in the distance. “This is your last chance you know. I would be more than willing to just leave you all to your own devices, allowing you to destroy yourselves. You should feel honored that you are being given this chance, a chance to become something greater than you are now.”
Disappearing from sight Harry’s words carried into the hall. “Don’t ruin this chance for I will be waiting, either to welcome you with open arms or to destroy every single one of you. The choice is yours.”
The gathering of witches and wizards stood there shocked and shamed at the words they heard.
Koeh’avara and Trava’in walked out of the hall slowly intending to run as soon as they were out of sight to comfort their fellow lord, barely hearing Saero’s words as they exited the building.
“Despite his harsh words Lord Na Arkenea’ghymn will be the first to go out of his way to help you, you just have to take the first step.” Saero told them as he motioned for them to follow him to the array so he could send them home.
After seeing the humans out of sanctuary he joined the others as they stood near the edge of the gorge staring at the waterfall, keeping Harry company in his solitude.
“I had always wondered what I would find once I made the journey across worlds. I had even resigned myself to kidnap this world’s version of myself and raise him in a loving environment if needed, not expecting to go back as far in the past as I did.
Instead of the fear and distrust I expected I found friends and those who I could open my heart to enough to begin to care again, no matter how much I might grumble under my breath.
Harry James Potter can move on now, his demons have been exercised and he can truly rest.
Mytimah Na Arkenea’ghymn has taken his place and he has found a home.” Mytimah told them as he stared at the setting sun through the mist of the falls.

Answers for chapters 13 and 14
chapter 13
Ryuuta - No Lily is not descended from Elves nor is she descended from a magical line, but her line did do a great favor by saving the life of one of the high ones in the past and was gifted the amulet.
Biblios - Fawkes is not around yet in this world, he never did make the connection with Albus.
Aurther Weasley is in school and other than the mention of Lily none of the other students made it into the story line, this was left open with the plot device of allowing the High Ones to train those they found worthy if I decide I have inspiration to do a sequel.
Chapter 14
Huntress - the timeline for the story is only about 4 months tops, so there is no way he could develop a relationship since he is trying to finally relax and recover from the long war. I left it open if I do a sequel.
Conner JW - Well if you look back to a chapter or two ago you will see that I let the Auror force kill off all but a handful of the death eaters, I do believe the handful that survive will bury their leanings shall we say now that the High Ones are out and about.
Biblios - A Lucius needs to survive for a while at least long enough to spawn the arrogant one

Journey to a New Start ch 14

Chapter 14
Harry thought the past month had been too stress free, James and his friends had not been bothered by Dumbledore at the last two Hogsmeade weekends which surprised him, though from what he was hearing from several of the guards that shadowed the trio to make sure they weren’t bothered, the three went to extreme measures to make sure to avoid Dumbledore, and yet at the same time to enjoy themselves.
Leaning on the balcony watching Aerma put his guards through their training Harry felt someone walk up behind him. Turning his attention for a moment away from what was before him he sent his sense out and picked up that it was Trava’in who was approaching.
“Good morning Trava’in what brings you out of your forest and to me instead of my library.” Harry asked with a chuckle to soften his question.
“You do know that it annoys Saero to no end when you do that don’t you.” Trava’in laughed.
Turning around to clasp the others arm in a greeting Harry smiled. “I know it annoys him and I swore after the first time I let my guard down it would not happen again.”
Trava’in started at him for a moment before telling him. “Mytimah I sometimes think you are the most paranoid Elf I have ever met then I remember you came from a war torn land and have not been here long enough to fully learn to relax.”
“Do you mind if we walk though the gorges gardens while we talk?” Trava’in asked as he stuck his head over the railing to see what was happening below.
Seeing no reason to deny the request Harry motioned for the other Elf to join him as he started to walk along the terrace towards the steps leading down.
“So what are you here to snitch starts of now?” Harry asked jokingly.
Acting all innocent Trava’in replied. “Whatever do you mean; I will have you know that I have never snitched anything in my life.”
Breaking out into laughter Trava’in added in. “Sneaking on the other hand.”
Joining him in laughing Harry waved at those they passed as they walked to the waterfall that cascaded into the gorge.
It had taken some time but he finally was accepting that he was the Lord of these people, and that they wanted to be here, more than that most of them were just plain fun to be around, especially their expressions when Harry showed them something new.
That had gone a long way in helping Harry relax and recover from the war.
“Out of curiosity why did you not tell any one when your birthday was?” Trava’in asked quietly as they approached the waterfall and could not be overheard.
Glancing at the other with a strange expression Harry finally answered. “Growing up I was never allowed to even know when my birthday was, it was not until I started school I found out when I was born. To me really it is not a special day, nor am I used to celebrating it.”
Stopping near the cliff where the water cascaded into the gorge from the stream above them Harry stared into the water. “The first time I ever received a birthday gift was when Hagrid, a half giant friend of mine, came to deliver my Hogwarts acceptance letter, he brought me this huge chocolate cake. It was the first time I had ever tasted cake, my aunt and uncle did their best to beat me down.”
Smiling at the memory Harry told him. “He was the one who bought me Hedwig as a birthday gift; she has been my best friend and been with me for over twenty five years. She is the only one that I have told everything to. Most people would think that was barmy to be sharing your soul with an owl.”
Not about to say anything or show how angered he was that anyone could treat a child that way Trava’in did not want Mytimah to stop sharing a part of himself, since most of his past was locked up solid as if guarded by dragons, so he said nothing.
“I used to sit up the night before my birthday sitting with the window open waiting for my friends to owl me, most of the time they sent presents.” Harry smiled at the memory.
“When the war was in full swing I had no time for birthdays or any other holiday, to many other important things got in the way.” Harry said as he pushed his magic at a lightly drawn rune on the cliff wall.
A passage door opened up silently leading to spiral stair leading down motioning with his arm Harry smiled and told him. “After you.”
Curious Trava’in walked into the secret passage and started down the steps. “Do you have secret ways hidden all over these lands, it seems like every time I turn around some new secret path is being revealed.”
Chuckling in amusement Harry answered. “One of the happiest memories I have is of wandering Hogwarts when no one was around and finding secret or hidden ways and rooms. Most of them I kept to myself and did not share them with Ron or Hermione. I like secret passageways and hidden rooms, must be the kid in me.”
“Well one of the things that I wanted to ask was to get your permission to hire some of the little ones if they are willing, some of them are very skilled and I can promise that they would be cherished for more than the skills they can offer.”
Sending a confused look at the back of the Other Lord Harry said. “Why ask me the house elves can work for whoever they choose, they don’t need my permission.”
Shaking his head with a chuckle Trava’in told him. “You truly do not know how the little ones worship the ground you walk on do you.”
Nearing the bottom the door opened leading out near the edge of the river Harry stopped for a moment when Trava’in told him as he went through the door. “Without your permission to ask them they would never even consider my words.”
Allowing the passage to close Harry caught up with Trava’in “I think the lot of you are barmy, but I will talk to Eldest later to make sure they know they can work anywhere they want.”
“Thank…Is that Blood Moss.” Trava’in started to thank him before catching sight of the low growing plant near the gorge wall.
Striding quickly to the low growing moss like plant that was in full bloom he knelt down and examined it closely. “By the Valar…It is Blood Moss.”
“This plant was lost long ago, so many potions that heal the mind we have not been able to brew since loosing this plant.” Trava’in whispered in wonder.
Looking over his shoulder he begged, “Please, so many could benefit from the healing potions that can be made with Blood Moss. Please allow us to harvest a small amount for ingredients?”
Remembering the potions text he came across that allowed him to develop the potion to negate the effects of the pain curse and reading some of the other potions that needed this particular plant to heal the mind, unfortunately he never discovered the properties until after Neville’s parents had been killed in a death eater raid.
“I think you need to follow me, I have something you need to see.” Harry told him as he turned around and walked back the way they came.”
Quickly getting up and not bothering to brush the loam off of his pants Trava’in ran to catch up with Harry.
Back near the falls where the mist was heaviest Harry looked for the keystone that would allow him to activate another one of the many hidden secrets.
Finding it Harry squatted down and traced the rune on the side of the rock as he pooled his magic in his finger causing a bridge to slowly rise out of the water.
Trava’in stood there in shock as yet another secret was revealed, a bridge over the water rose gracefully from the deep pool.
Waiting until the bridge had stopped rising Harry looked over his shoulder and snorted in mirth at the shocked Lord of the forests.
Stepping onto the bridge he called back. “Coming, or are you going to stand there all day with your chin on the ground.”
Snapping out of his shock Trava’in stepped on the bridge gingerly until he felt how solid it was and practically ran across it to catch up.
Harry waited until Trava’in stepped off the bridge before sinking the bridge again and stepping into the heaviest part of the mist that hid the entry to a small valley.
Moving to one side as Trava’in walked through the narrow opening in the wall Harry smiled at the expression of shock that stunned the other Elf.
“No drooling on the ground.” Harry laughed at him then swatted him on the shoulder to get him to breath again as he noticed he was holding his breath in shock.
Trava’in was sure he was hallucinating there before him was row upon row of carefully tended medicinal herbs and plants, including enough Blood Moss to last for a hundred years on one picking.
“H…Ho…Ho…How is this possible.” Trava’in finally sputtered out.
“This is one of the many farms scattered around my lands. I think I can spare a few kilos or two of anything you need.” Harry smirked in amusement.
Falling to the ground tears streaming down his face Trava’in muttered. “My son…My son can be healed now.”
Laughing in glee now Trava’in threw up some of the dirt and screamed. “He can be healed.”
More than a little worried at both the tears and laughter Harry knelt down slowly next to Trava’in and hugged him close.
Grabbing onto Harry as he cataloged the three magical plants long thought lost growing in the rows all nice and neat Trava’in blurted out. ”Anything, anything you want it’s yours, just let me save my son.”
Pulling the Elf into a tight embrace as he lost all control Harry reached around with his free hand and grasped the communication pendant around Trava’in’s neck and sent out the call. “Saero, Koeh’avara, Amathal I need you, this is an emergency follow my signal. Trava’in is having an emotional breakdown.”
Amathal hearing the call picked up her pendant and returned the though as she grabbed her emergency field kit and an extra strong calming draught. “I come, My Lord think clearly of your location so I can target your position.”
Staring at the wall and the table bear where he was sitting on the ground he sent the picture through the mental link of the communicator.
Getting a picture down the communication link was slightly surprising but it gave her greater control as she slashed her hand down and entered the rift.
“I am on my way.” Saero sent as he to started the journey that would take him an extra step once he arrived under the wards.
“I shall meet you at the healer’s hall after bringing Trava’in’s mate.” Koeh’avara sent as he quickly sent out messages to warn others that he was on the way.
Still holding the pendant Amathal’s shock was sent to Saero along with her words when she arrived in the hidden valley farm. “Merciful Valar, how is this possible.”
Releasing the pendant and breaking her gaze away from the mythical plants she quickly made her way to her Lord’s side.
“Hold him tightly my lord while I get this calming draught down his throat.” Amathal politely told her Lord.
Unscrewing the cap on the vial, which broke its seal, these screw caps were some of the most inventive creations she thought, she tipped the long vial into Trava’in’s mouth as she gently massaged his throat as she made him swallow the draught.
About that time Saero stepped out of a rift and seeing things well in hand he looked around and almost lost control himself.
Untangling himself form the slightly sleep induced Lord Harry stood up and walked over to Saero and punched him hard in the arm.
Jumping and bringing up his hands for combat Saero yelled out. “MYL OS EI SHOR.”
Glaring at the calm Lord standing there Saero said through clenched teeth. “Mytimah you better have a very good reason for hitting me.”
“One person catatonic at a time, I can’t afford to have you both drugged out of your mind when I need answers.” Harry told him sternly.
Slowly nodding his head Saero asked in a calmer voice. “What do you need to know?”
“This potion Trava’in mentioned as he lost control, do you know what it is and how to brew it?” Harry asked.
“Yes, I learned it a long time ago in history of potion brewing when I was young, we never could brew it as we lost the plants long before I was born, but we were taught it in the hopes that one day someone would come up with another way.”
Nodding his head Harry told him. “Good start collecting what you need and get to brewing.”
Shaking Saero muttered. “I don’t have my equipment with me I will have to go back and get it.”
“Hold on I think I can get you mine.” Harry told him as she raised his hand up and pooled his magic around it.
Hand glowing brightly he called out. “Floxy I need you and a collection kit quick as you can…Toby I need you to collect the tome ‘Mind healing Potions’ by Kratoch and bring it to the healing halls potion lab.”
Harry’s words seemed to echo around as his fist pulsed with each echo until his fist stopped glowing and a pop could be heard as a house elf wearing a black dragon hide apron with goggles popped in holding a small satchel.
“Thank you for coming so quickly Floxy, help Saero collect the ingredients he needs and help him brew the potion needed while I help the others to the healing hall.” Harry instructed to the little house elf with a smile.
“Floxy can do that Sir Emerald Eyes.” Floxy said proudly before turning to Saero.
Walking over to where Amathal was working on Trava’in, Harry asked. “Can he be moved?”
“Yes my Lord the sooner we get him in a bed in the healer’s hall the better I will feel about it.” Amathal answered as she collected up the items she had pulled from her kit and closed the satchel.
Pulling a case off his belt and kneeling down next to the two, Harry turned the top before twisting it to the right activating it.
Waiting until it was glowing Harry Told Amathal. “Grab your satchel and hold on.”
The three of them faded out in a swirl of colored lights as the recall key activated.
Fading into existence in the center of the floor of the healing hall on top of the runic writing on the floor Harry deactivated the key by twisting it back into its original shape.
Helping Amathal to get Trava’in to one of the beds he stepped back to allow her to work.
Hearing the sounds of running feet coming from the barn where the emergency array is located Harry moved to greet the newcomers.
“How is he Lord Na Arkenea’ghymn?” Koeh’avara asked as soon as he entered the main section of the healing hall that held the beds.
Hearing the question Lady Ar’Nes moved closer so she could better hear the answer.
“He’s resting right now after a strong calming draught, other than that I think he is going to be fine after he wakes up. Though Amathal can tell you more as she is the one that gave him the potions and scanned him.” Harry told them.
Sensing the question that was about to be asked Harry explained what happened. “He was fine until he caught sight of one of the hidden farms, the one were I grow certain magical plants that need to be bathed in mist off and on daily.”
Shaking his head Harry tried to understand what happened, yet did not want Trava’in’s mate to go hysterical also. “Before I tell you what he said and what I was told I need you to take strict control over yourself Lady of the hidden Forest Lands.”
Harry watched her carefully as she drew herself up to her full height and became stiff as she prepared to hear the worst. Nodding her head that she was ready he told her. “It has been pointed out to me that the healing potion needed to cure your son from his head injuries needed several ingredients that have long been gone from this world.”
“Seeing her stiffen further than relax Harry continued. “I have these ingredients growing in one of my farms and Trava’in lost control when he realized what they were and that your son could now be healed.”
Koeh’avara steadied her as she went weak legged for a moment and tears started to make their way down her cheeks.
“Saero is collecting the ingredients right now and should start on the potion shortly, if I might suggest that you prepare your son to be brought here so that he can be administered the potion as soon as it is finished.” Harry suggested softly to the crying mother, not the High lady she had to appear to be.
Harry looked around rapidly as he felt a disturbance in the wards but could not identify it, not getting any alarms from the wards he made a note to deal with this problem first then track down the disturbance.
“I am forever in your debt Lord Na Arkenea’ghymn.” Ar’Nes whispered as she hugged herself and tried to open a rift to leave as quickly as possible.
Frowning when nothing happened she started to ask what was wrong when Keoh’avara told her. “You have to be in one of the array’s to enter or leave the fourth kingdom; the wards won’t let you otherwise.”
Nodding her head and hugging Harry quickly as she blushed Lady Ar’Nes ran back the way she had come so she could get her son ready to travel.
“You have one surprise after another, and I thank you for the foresight you had to bring as much as you did when you made the crossing.” Koeh’avara told him as he clasped Harry’s shoulder.
“As do I, Mytimah I am going to have sit down with our historians and have them document everything we have lost to see if you have the answer hidden away some where around here.” Saero said as he strode into the room.
Chuckling Harry told him. “It might save Amathal a lot of work if we did that, but then I would not have an excuse to bat you around.”
Snorting Saero shot back. “Normally I would threaten you with a sparing match and through you around the pitch, but in your case the only one that would be thrown around I fear would be me.”
Laughing Harry smirked one of his evil smirks and simply said while motioning for him to follow him. “The potion lab is over here.”
Opening the door Harry noticed several tomes floating off to the side as Toby glanced through them trying to find the correct recipe.
Smiling Harry told him. “Thank you Toby for your quick work, were you able to find what we are looking for?”
Nodding his head Toby said finger on the tome as he read off the ingredients. “Toby is finding several potions for mind healing using the ingredients from the mist farm, the best is the old one that re-grows brain, but Floxy will be needing to go to desert farm and harvest three salt flower pods ready to burst. Floxy is needing to use the flame cutting collection way.”
“Floxy will do so.” Floxy told him as he grabbed another satchel and popped away to collect the ingredient needed.
Waving his hand which closed the other tomes and stacked them over out of the way as if floating on an invisible table Toby turned the tome he was reading from around so Harry could see the instructions.
“Yes…Yes this sounds like it will do what is needed.” Harry muttered under his breath as he read what the potion was designed to repair.
Looking over his shoulder Saero whistled in awe. ‘By the Valar this is even better then the potion I was intending to brew, it will heal the damage Ithlam suffered from the fall, and if I am not mistaken, instead of rerouting the pathways it will actually re-grow them.”
Setting his harvest down on the table Saero picked up Toby in a huge hug telling him. ‘Toby you are a life savior thank you.”
“EEEP.” Toby squeaked out before smiling a huge smile and returning the hug as he was set back down on his feet.
Laughing at Saero’s antics Harry positioned the tome behind one of the specially designed reading cases that would protect the tome as they brewed.
“Lets get started then.” Harry called out as he started to gather the ingredients from the racks.
Setting the containers down on the side table while Saero chose a cauldron to brew in Harry felt another disturbance in the wards this time a little more urgent before they settled back down.
Stopping and letting his senses flow towards the wards Harry did not sense any danger, and the wards still did not report what had disturbed them.
Seeing that Saero had everything well under control and knowing that Floxy would be back soon Harry told him he was going back out into the healing hall to wait for Lady Ar’Nes to return.
Walking into the main section of the ward Harry once again briefly felt like he had lost control when he noticed that Amathal had already prepared a bed near Trava’in for his son.
Hearing footsteps rapidly coming towards the healing wing from the array Harry had to snort in amusement when a voice called out angrily from farther away demanding an explanation on why they scooped up Ithlam like they did and just where did they think they were taking him.
“Oh Amathal are you behind this idiocy then?” The angry healer bellowed as she stalked into the hall.
“Kindly keep your voice down, Trava’in is resting finally.” Amathal hissed back.
Healers, Harry though they are the same no matter the race or the dimension right before the wards set off the alarm as they finally determined what had been disturbing them.
Shocked at the sudden red light that encompassed everything in the hall Harry strode to the glowing gem near the entrance and placed his hand on it ignoring all the questions around him.
Growling in anger Harry spat out. “How did he find this place?” Before shouting out. “HOW DARE HE SET FOOT IN MY LANDS?”
Rage rolling off of him in waves that could be felt like a physical blow Harry traced the runes on his belt fully transforming into his combat suit.
“Malesia jhylyrn tydi {Sanctuary lockdown mode.}” Harry hissed out as he stalked towards the main corridor before being engulfed in a glowing nimbus of magic.
“Transport all my people out of the room.” Harry ordered as he rounded the corner.
“Activate destruction sequence, target the dark mark.” Harry fumed at the though of his home being violated.
In the reading room where Voldemort had lost his temper as he bounced off the wards once again that kept him out of the main section of the library.
Hissing profanities in Parseltounge as he picked himself off the floor once more he was really angered when the walls melted down and the light in the room turned red and the exits disappeared.
Trying to Apparate out of the room he continued to curse when that too failed along with his port key.
Sudden screaming from behind him from McNally as he fell to the floor clutching his mark told him that something was happening that he knew nothing about.
“What magic is this?” Voldemort screamed in frustration.
Stopping and gazing up and to the right as if he was looking at something Koeh’avara caught up to the enraged Blood Elf at the same time as Captain Aerma with his troops did.
Holding his hand up when the wards told him they sensed four objects tied to the enemy by energy traces that was trapped in the room near the library Harry started to chant.
Having to avoid looking at Mytimah directly because he was too bright to look at Aerma felt the terrible power pressing down on him as magic literally poured into his Lord and was amplified.
Harry ended the chant and switching to English to finish as four objects appeared in a glowing bubble in front of him.
I summon thee
I summon the threads of eternity
I summon the pieces of soul split by evil
I summon the darkness of deeds trapped
To me to be set free
Harry concentrating on the four objects in the glowing bubble in front of him pointed his staff at them and placed both hands on his staff as he softly said the words to destroy Riddles soul fragments.
A blazing bolt of magic poured out and hit the four objects causing them to heat up and to the shock of all present they let out a hideous scream as they melted into a puddle that slowly evaporated as black shadows tried to escape the bubble before they too were destroyed.
Grinning in satisfaction Harry waved his hand in a circle in front of him causing the wall to flow open in time to hear Tom Riddle scream in agony.
Stalking his pray Harry walked though the new door into the reading room and glared at the heaving form on the floor.
“So Riddle you would dare to invade my home and lands.” Harry hissed out in anger.
“Foolish, how does it feel to only have one fifth of your soul left, now that the others are destroyed.” Harry spat out as he circled his prey building energy to finish him once and for all.
“You should have stayed far away from me and mine Human, you would have lived longer.” Harry stopped in front of the panting dark lord as he raised his head to glare at him.
“Thomas Marvelo Riddle known as the Dark Lord Voldemort I herby sentence you to death by soul shredding, to be forever lost for all time.” Harry passed verdict as he once again said the words that killed the dark lord in his world.
“No…No…Please mercy.” Voldemort cried out in fear, as he sobbed out. ‘Who are you?’
Harry gazed at the fear stricken man as he raised his arms and directed the magic that was swirling around him to lift he man in preparations of dissolution. “I am retribution…I am justice come to life…I am the protector of those who are innocent.”
Moving forward so Voldemort could clearly see his glowing emerald eyes through the eye opening of his helm Harry proudly proclaimed as his magic started to dissolve the fiend trapped in the bubble of magic in front of him. “I am the Lord Na Arkenea’ghymn, High Mage of the Blood Elf’s.”
Pulsing in the colors of the rainbow now Harry told him as he ignored Voldemort’s screams. “Die.”
Tendrils of magic sprang up around Harry as they caressed him before shooting forward to touch Voldemort. Everyplace they touched dissolved and Voldemort screamed in agony.
All to soon for Harry’s liking it was over and he collapsed to his knees and muttered out. “Ael Jhylyrn vaeres sai malia {End Lockdown return to standby}” before falling face forward and catching himself with his hands.
“Mytimah.” Keoh’avara screamed out as the lights returned to normal and the doors, walls and windows returned.
Aerma screamed out and reached out to help steady his lord. “My Lord.”
His hand inching its way to his belt Harry traced the rune set on the side to return his combat suit to the belt.
“Come young Lord we need to get you to the healing hall.” Koeh’avara told him gently as he helped Aerma get him to his feet.
“It is finished.” Harry said to no one in particular as he flashed in and out of memories of that day.
Struggling to stay aware Harry noticed they were moving whispered out. “My rooms…Need to get to my rooms.”
“Mytimah you need the healers, and the hall is the best place for that.” Koeh’avara told him gently.
Shaking his head no he got out an order. ”Aerma…Order you, my rooms…special bed behind red mirror…Hurry.”
Scooping his lord up in his arms Aerma raced back the way they came and down a side corridor. “At once my Lord.”
Frustrated Koeh’avara followed as he clasped his communications pendant and called for a healer to meet them in Mytimah’s rooms.
Several of the guards had raced around their captain as he carried their lord and had the doors open that led to the secret room holding the bed their Lord told them was there.
Gently placing his Lord on the bed Aerma gently let his head down on the pillow and jumped back when a golden light sprang up from the bed and bathed his Lord in its light.
“Activation sequence complete…Diagnostic scan core breach in progress…” A musical voice came from the bed.
“Valar protect him.” Amathal cried out in fear as she heard the voice.
A gold liquid started to bubble up from underneath Harry’s still form as pure magic, drawn from the deep reservoirs under the complex, started to fill the energy barrier that rose around him.
“Core restructure commencing…Infusion activated.” The voice said as the glowing liquid covered Harry’s head.
“What is going on? What is that liquid that Mytimah is submerged in?” Koeh’avara asked rapidly in agitation.
He was not expecting an answer so he was shocked when he heard one from the strange musical voice. “Pure Magic infusion is repairing his core and body.”
Clearing her throat Amathal asked the only question she could not having the slightest idea about what the musical voice was talking about. “How long until he wakes?”
“Core infusion and repair will take sixteen hours, he shall wake soon after.” The musical voice had reached the end of its programming and fell silent as it monitored the repairs.
“I want guards in full battle gear in every corner of this room and in the outer rooms. Trade off with replacements every hour until our Lord wakes.” Aerma ordered.
Satisfied when his guards took up positions until they could be replaced by guards fully armed and in battle gear, Aerma settled in for a long wait.
“Let me know if anything happens I am going to track down Saero, maybe he can shed some light on what is happening.” Koeh’avara told Amathal.
Lost in his thoughts he entered the potion lab to find that they had not heard the alarms or knew what had happened. After telling Saero what had happened he hoped he would get some answers.
“So this worlds Voldemort accomplished something the one from his world never was able to do, he found a way into Sanctuary.” Saero mused slowly as he gathered his thoughts.
“Since you witnessed the battle I do not think Mytimah would be too upset if I shared this much with you.” Saero told him as a way of staring his explanation.
“In his old world his enemy had gained far more power then he did in ours, his name was Voldemort, the same as the one that was just destroyed.” Saero told him as he added the next ingredient that Floxy had prepared for him and pooled his magic and fed it into the mixture for the proscribed time.
“I think Mytimah had a slight flashback and used the same technique he did when he destroyed the other Voldemort, and I think the rage he felt accompanied with the flash back allowed him to pull magic directly into his core at a rate that it overloaded the channels and punched new ones, thus causing the breaches.” Saero finished pouring magic into the potion checked to make sure that he had half an hour before the next step as the potion barely simmered.
Turning around and walking towards his counterpart in the mountain lands Saero sighed as he ran his hand through his hair. “Mytimah allowed me to read the journals he wrote during the war, one of the passages dealt with what could happen if his core was breached.”
Pulling up a stool and sitting down Saero told him. “Ingenious really the way he came up with a novel approach to repair damage that would normally kill any magical being. He built a special chamber and programmed a series of crystals with commands that would infuse his body with pure magic giving his core time to heal the breaches and alter them to become new channels.”
“This was all theory mind you as he never had to use it, as in the end he was able to destroy Voldemort without resorting to calling up magic faster than his channels could carry it. I think he did not take in account that after the change he could access more magic then he could before the change and called too much too quickly.” Saero told him.
“How powerful is he?” Koeh’avara almost did not want to know.
Snorting Saero told him. “That young elf is the most powerful being on this world, but at the same time he yearns to be nobody special and has one of the strictest moral codes I have ever heard of before. His saving people thing he calls it.”
“Now that he has opened his heart to us, we are his people and he will give anything to make sure nothing happens to us, including giving up his life.” Saero stood up to check on Floxy and the potion once more.
“There is only one other he considers an enemy still in this world, mainly for all the pain and hardship he was put through due to this wizards vision of the greater good.” Saero warned him.
“We need to hold council and decide whether it might be wiser to remove this wizard’s magic now before Mytimah runs into him again. I have seen what this wizard’s twisted vision leads too.” Saero shuddered as he whispered in pain. “Total annihilation of every living thing.”
Standing up now that he had something he could do Koeh’avara asked. “How much longer on the potion before it’s finished?”
“Another hour, it is both simple and the most complex potion I have ever seen. I think that is because of the amount of magic that needs to be infused during its brewing.” Saero told Koeh’avara’s retreating back.
Stopping at the door Koeh’avara looked over his shoulder. “Trava’in should be awake by now and I will fill him in on what has happened. As far as calling the council, even I know that Mytimah would abstain from voting as he would feel he was too involved. My vote is for capture and stripping that wizard’s magic for the good of us all, how do you vote?”
“I agree, and for more reasons then you will ever know.” Saero started his answer softly, but ended it harshly.
“So be it, I will inform Trava’in.” Koeh’avara left the lab.
Walking into the main hall he noticed that Trava’in was up and around and sitting on the edge of his son’s bed along with his life mate.
“Trava’in I hate to interrupt at a time like this, but a council of Kingdoms has been called. A matter has come up that you should be informed of and seeing that the potion still has another hour before it is ready I would ask you listen to what has happened while you recovered.” Koeh’avara said formally as he moved a chair to the end of the bed so Trava’in did not have to move from his son’s side.
Over the next forty-five minutes he explained everything that had happened and that he had learned before asking. “Two votes have already been cast…How vote yea?”
Trava’in who had been silent through the tale until the end and his questions answered to his satisfaction felt sick as he looked towards his wife and mother of his children as he weighed the options in his mind.
Ar’Nes who had sat silent through the horrific tale looked at her husband and told him. “We made a mistake all those years ago when we left this world to travel to others without leaving the means to ensure those given the gift used it wisely. Even after we started to come home we ignored those we gave the gift of magic too unless they interfered directly with our lives. We made a mistake doing this, it is past time we took an active roll in the raising of those we gave the gift too, so they may learn to use it wisely.”
Staring at his wife Trava’in finally nodded his head and spoke the words that would forever damn Albus Dumbledore. “The majority of the council has reached agreement, three votes in favor of capture of Albus Dumbledore and the removal of the gift. He shall suffer the death of Magic.”
“So Mote It Be.” Saero chimed in as he walked in the room with the potion sending up streams of magic.
Ar’Nes help me by sitting your son up so we can get this potion in him.” Saero prompted as he sat down on the edge of the bed near the head.

Jounrey to a New Start ch 13

Chapter 13
Minerva was slightly nervous about her masters test the next morning, even though ii had been explained to her several times she still did not fully understand how in Merlin’s name it was going to work.
It had been a long hard month of fourteen hour days as she struggled to master her magic in a way she believed could not be done. In fact it had taken the trickery of Lord Emerald Eyes taking her wand and making her think he turned it to ash before she even gave herself the chance of doing what she thought was the impossible.
That was not the only thing that had distracted her over the past month, when Albus woke up on the forest floor he was furious. And once he reached the castle and realized what Harold had done he was absolutely livid.
If it were not for the magic dampening field the borderline dark spells Albus had fired off in Harold’s direction would have killed him. What little respect she had for the man was killed in that moment.
How he intended to fulfill his duties of headmaster now that he was permanently banned from the grounds she could not fathom nor at this point could she care.
His odd demands that she show up at his slightest whim at his borrowed room in Hogsmeade for updates on the happenings up at the castle was quickly put to a stop much to her relief.
Sighing, if she kept up this trip down memory lane she would not get any rest tonight, and she needed to be her best the next morning.
Picking up the vial of sleep potion Minerva quickly downed it and laid down on her pillow and pulled the covers up and slowly drifted off to sleep.
XXX
Waking up and getting dressed in the strange style clothing that had been provided Minerva checked her image one last time in the mirror before exiting the guest rooms and walking towards the dining area.
She had been warned to make sure she ate more than normal, as she would be burning up a large amount of energy during the testing.
Sitting down at the table a large amount of food appeared before her and she just stared at sheer volume.
Half an hour later and very uncomfortable with the amount she ate Minerva slowly made her way to the testing hall.
She told herself to stop acting like a seventh year waiting to take her NEWT’S, after all she passed her masters in the Wizarding world without the slightest problems.
Harry smiled as he saw Minerva all nervous standing in the middle of the room waiting to be told what to do.
Picking up the testing bands off the table Harry walked over to where Minerva was waiting and told her as he handed her the first band. “After all the practice you have done over the past month you will do fine, so relax. The first band goes across your forehead, while the other two are for your wrists.”
Bands in place Minerva asked as she tugged her sleeves back down. “What happens now?”
“Now? Now you access your magic and conjure up a chair, something that reclines I think. Then sit down and we will go over what you need to do for the test.” Harry told her as he retook his own seat, setting down the column from the box and placing the testing jewel on the column that he removed the bands from.
Closing her eyes to visualize one of the muggle recliners she had seen last year while introducing the magical world to a muggle born student, Minerva slowly reached inside her and touched her magic as she waved her hand and conjured the chair.
Opening her eyes she let herself feel a slight sense of relief when she noticed the chair was exactly as she pictured it.
Sitting down gingerly and then when the recliner held up under her weight more firmly Minerva noticed the jewel she had hardly spared a glance at was now glowing.
Smiling when he saw Minerva conjure the recliner and noticed the jewel that measured power output was now glowing Harry leaned forward across the table to explain just how the test would be administered. “This jewel measures if you have enough control and power to be considered for taking this test, as you can see by its glow you are ready, judged so by magic.”
“The test is simple, for the next two hours you will start by casting the basics of your craft through the most advanced and complex transfiguration you know. Each building on what you have already performed. The test is over when the jewel turns purple and magic gives you your mark on the back of your hand and or temple.” Harry told her as he pointed out the jewel before standing up.
“I will leave you to it then, and I will return in two hours time.” Harry told her as he made his way to the door.
Stopping at the doorframe Harry looked over his shoulder and told her as he opened the door. “Your time starts as soon as you cast your first spell. Oh, you will find all sorts of objects on the side table you can use in your transfigurations.”
Closing the door firmly behind him with a grin, Harry had to wonder how long it would be before Minerva cast her first spell.
Walking along the corridor that led to his office Harry really did not feel like working on expansion plans or any of the other myriad of plans or proposals that crossed his desk for approval right now.
Taking a side passage that led through the greenhouses he used for meditation Harry soon found himself outside overlooking the novice classes that also had the Gryffindor trio attending.
For some reason in this world Pettigrew never accepted his Hogwarts letter, choosing instead to go to Durmstrang, or more likely having it chosen for him.
Leaning on the balcony Harry watched the novice class as they went through the steps necessary to do simple conjurations without the crutch of a focusing object. The High Elf’s gave focusing rings to their children and as they grew into their powers the body absorbed the ring gradually until it totally disappeared.
His own wand turned into rings lasted about three weeks before his body absorbed them, it was a slight shock to wake up one morning and find they were gone, he was frantic all of two minutes until he summoned, without thinking, one of the texts from his library that explained what happened.
“Sorry to interrupt you my Lord.” Aerma one of the candidates for the position of captain of the guards joined Harry at the balcony and joined his lord in gazing at the novice class.
“Problems Aerma?” Harry asked not taking his eyes off James and his friends.
“No my Lord, all the candidates for the captain of your guard have now gathered on the training field near the gorge and await your arrival so that the testing of our skills may commence.” Aerma told him his body showing the eagerness he felt even if his voice did not.
Harry laughed and told him. “So eager for a sparring match are we?”
Nodding his head as a smile grew on his face Aerma replied jovially. “Aye that I am, one I plan to win my Lord.”
Letting his magic engulf his body Harry leaped to the top of the railing like some giant jungle cat and told the startled Elf with a wicked grin.” Meet you on the field.”
Harry then turned and leapt into the air and did several acrobatic twists and twirls before landing on his feet and walking away like he had just stepped off the stairs normally.
Of course the only one who bought Harry’s act were those on the other side of his lands that had not seen what he had just done.
James and Sirius who had been talking to Remus now that class was over, looked at him sharply as he had yet to answer them, following their friends gaze towards the main building they watched stunned as the lord of these lands jumped into the air and landed softly on his feet, acting like he had not just done that awe inspiring act of acrobatics.
Looking up from where he was gathering his notes and teaching aides the old scholar noticed the stillness that was not typical for the release of class just in time to notice Lord Arkenea’ghymn land softly on the ground like a large jungle cat.
Using his ability to see magic the old scholar chuckled when he saw the spiraling path that led from the edge of the balcony to the ground seems the lord is in a playful mood.
“Ah, it is amazing what one can do when they have full control over their magic isn’t it?” The scholar told his class as they were still following Lord Arkenea’ghymn with awe filled eyes.
Seeing Aerma running down the stairs in an attempt to follow the retreating lord, it was not too difficult to put two and two together to get the answer. Deciding that most of the boys would be following the two as soon as they found out about the contest for choosing the captain of the guards, the scholar clapped his hands together to get the boys attention.
“All right class…it seems that everyone has gathered for the show of skills that will determine the next Captain of the Guards. Valar protect me if I was to keep you from watching, so we will go down as a group and I expect you to be on your best behavior.” The old Scholar warned the now excited students.
Sitting down at the outskirts of the marked off training area, James and his friends ended up near the three Lords of the other kingdoms without realizing who they were.
Harry walked into the center of the dueling pitch and glanced at the warriors gathered along two of the sides before calling out. “Those that wish to compete for the post of Captain of the Guards step forward.”
After some jostling among the gathered crowd there were soon six warriors standing in front of him.
Nodding his head Harry told them. “I am sure that all of you are quite proficient in the use of weapons and unarmed combat or you would not be standing here, so the contest will be of a magical nature, the best magical warrior will be awarded the post with the others if they wish being lieutenants if you wish.”
Smiling Harry told them the rules. “No magic that will cause permanent disability or death is to be used against one another, and if you wish to mix in non magical weapons you may. Whichever of you remains standing at the end will become the new captain.”
Moving to the center of the pitch Harry added with his back towards the group. “Just remember this is a contest to showcase your magical skills. Oh…Yes before I forget I will spar with the winner.”
Sitting down on the ground cross-legged in the middle of the pitch, Harry made a few motions with his hands and slowly started to rise in the air until he was well above the pitch. “Begin.”
Aerma looked around in confusion at the other contestants for a moment before catching something moving out of the corner of his eye, ducking to the side he barely moved in time to miss being hit with some type of stunning charm.
Harry watched with interest as the six warriors battled it out amongst themselves down below, for the most part they were superb fighters, though several of them were clearly outclassed from the start.
Soon there were only two warriors left and they were perfectly matched.
Standing up by uncrossing his legs from underneath him Harry slowly floated to the ground. “You are both perfectly matched, do either of you wish to concede the job to the other?”
Smiling at the negative nods from both Elf’s Harry told them. “You have fifteen minutes to prepare yourselves for a new challenge, I shall be your opponent, and the one who can last the longest against me shall win.”
They both looked at Harry slightly shocked and like he was just a little bit on the crazy side, after all they were the two most skilled warriors in all the kingdom’s.
The evil smirk that crossed Harry’s face as he started to warm up would have frightened the two warriors if they had a chance to see it, to bad his back was turned as he faced away from them.
Turning around Harry asked them as he stood there shimmering. “Who’s first then?”
Feeling pretty full of himself, after all how many Lords actually mastered the skills of the warrior Aerma’s opponent stepped forward. “I will, and what happens when we best you?”
“That will not happen.” Harry let the glee he was feeling at the thought of combat show on his face.
A little arrogant and more than a little put off from the lords attitude he attacked swiftly, rapidly throwing high power battle spells wanting to take the lord down as quickly as possible to teach him a lesson, a lesson that battle was for the warriors not the rulers.
Eyes widening ever so slightly as the battle spells made their way towards him Harry let the smile of joy he was feeling show on his face as he held up one hand and made a circular motion with his palm face forward while he mumbled a few words.
Aerma was troubled and shocked when he saw the battle magic streaking towards Lord Arkenea’ghymn,
About to move forward to intercept the spells by placing himself in their path he froze when the spells were caught in what looked like a vortex and gathered into a ball of energy in the Palm of Lord Arkenea’ghymn’s hand.
Enraged to see his best battle magic stopped so easily he summoned his sword and charged the young lord who was examining the captured spells.
Sensing the lethality of the spells that had been cast at him Harry closed his fist around the energy absorbing it as he took on a darker look.
Seeing the Elvin warrior charging at him with his long sword in motion towards his head Harry was starting to get pissed off.
Sidestepping another of the more lethal spells sent his way. Harry ducked under the sword by stepping forward and around the spells that had been cast.
“So that’s the way you want to play it.” Harry told him darkly.
“So be it.” Harry said as he took several steps sideways and placed his hand on a jeweled runic inlay on his belt and fed it a burst of his magic.
Fully enraged and not able to control either his emotions or actions Lasly attacked, his rage intent on destroying who he thought was mocking him.
In some small part of his brain that still held the last of his reason Lasly was horrified as the Lord of the Fourth Kingdom transformed in front of his eyes into one of the mythical Blood Elves as the blood red armor covered his body and head.
Harry to intent on stopping the out of control Elf did not notice every other elf in the area falling to their knee in respect, or hear Trava’in stuttered in shock. “Valar protect the fool, he’s a Blood Elf.”
Sensing that the warrior was unbalanced mentally Harry took pity on him and allowed his magic to enhance his jump as a glowing staff appeared in his left hand as he pooled his magic in his right hand.
Touching the glowing orb of the staff to the pool of magic in his hand a pure white beam shot forth and hit the raging Elvin warrior in the head causing him to drop to the ground unconscious.
Touching ground Harry walked over to the fallen warrior and ran a diagnostic charm over the fallen warrior before glancing around at he crowd for one of the healers.
Seeing the awed looks as he glanced around the field his gaze finally landed on the three Lords of the other kingdoms who were slowly moving in his direction.
Relaxing his hold on his magic Harry reached down with his free hand and traced the outline of the jeweled runic inlay and allowed the combat suit to be reabsorbed back into his belt.
“Saero call the healers, he is in need of a mind healer the most.” Harry told him as he stood up and gave the kneeling figures a harsh glance.
“After that he either learns to control his rage or I lock down his abilities.” Harry told him fiercely as the harsh glance at those kneeling turned to a scowl.
“You lot better get back on your feet before I get pissed.” Harry shouted to everyone that was kneeling as he walked back towards the testing chamber.
“Aerma the job goes to you, as I will not have anyone who can not follow my instructions working for me.” Harry called out as he stepped out of the ring.
Not even bothering to see if any of the kneeling people had bothered to follow his demands Harry walked away cursing under his breath, the only thing he had forgotten in his anger was High Elf’s had very good hearing.
James stared at the retreating back of the most powerful person he had ever seen with looks of hero worship on his face, grabbing hold of Sirius he whispered in awe. “Did you see that, he stopped and stood up in the air like he was standing on the ground, and the power was blinding.”
Quickly catching up to Harry, Saero tried to explain why everyone had acted like they did. “You have to understand that even to those of us that have never left this world to go wandering, the Blood Elf was a mythical entity revered for being the ultimate warrior.”
Stopping near the wall he had jumped to the ground from Harry turned with a confused expression. “What is a blood Elf, and why does everyone think I am one?”
“Your skills with magic already led most of us to believe that you were a skilled warrior.” Trava’in told him
While Koeh’avara told him what really convinced them, “The combat suit and double pronged orbed staff that you called to yourself during the match is the sign on a Blood Elf. The blood red armor covered in runes that we recognize but cant read along with how you combined staff and pure magic leaves no doubt that you are a Blood Elf.”
Harry stared at them for a moment before saying slowly. “You have to be wrong, I made this combat uniform long before I came to this world, it saved my life numerous times during the war.”
“As for the rest of it, well I found the information in one of the old tomes in the…” Harry trailed off remembering just where he found the information sitting out on the library table, along with several other tomes he had studied, and mastered the never heard before skills found inside.
Shaking his head not really wanting to have this conversation any longer until he had a chance to come to terms with what he learned Harry slowly rose in the air and stepped over the balcony railing.
Looking back over his shoulder he snorted when he saw the looks of awe on the three Lords faces.
“Are you coming or not?” Harry asked slightly exasperated.
“And just how do you expect us to follow you Mytimah, we might be skilled magical users but you have skills we have never heard of?” Saero called out slightly annoyed.
Leaning over the railing as he gazed down at the three Harry relied. “You do know how to do a simple levitation charm don’t you?”
Snorting in annoyance Saero called back up to him. “Yes I am very well versed in that skill, enough to know that you can’t cast it on ones body.”
Thinking that some times magical people had no common sense Harry shook his head and called over his shoulder as he started to walk inside. “You are wearing shoes aren’t you?”
“You know there is something wrong, if a whole new world of magic opens up just because he does not think the same way we do, why in the Valar’s name did we not think of that?” Trava’in said with an amused snort when the idea fully sunk in.
Testing the waters so to speak by casting a slight levitation charm on his boots Trava’in smirked when he noticed he was stable in his floating, a hands length off the ground.
Almost laughing in glee at the expressions on the others faces Trava’in rose slowly up to the balcony and stepped onto the railing and jumped down, his companions not far behind him.
“He is never going to let us live this down you know.” Koeh’avara muttered as they picked up the pace to catch up with the young Lord who was full of surprises.
Joining Harry at the door to the testing room they watched through the now transparent door as the now very sweaty and disheveled transfiguration professor started to glow as she fell back onto the conjured recliner.
Returning the door to normal with a wave of his hand and a thought Harry opened it and walked inside to check on professor McGonagall. Stopping at her side he waited until the glow had faded and removed the wrist and forehead bands and with a quick thought of them being clean he waited a moment for the magic to take affect before placing the bands back on the pedestal and placing everything back into the box.
Clicking open one of his numerous belt compartments Harry found the energizing potion he was looking for and pulled it out, which returned it to its full size once it left the built in stasis field. Holding it out Harry softly told her. “Drink this it will help, or at least get you back on your feet long enough to get some more food in you.”
Taking the offered small vial Minerva fumbled with the cap for a moment before she realized that you had to twist it off, downing the tasteless potion in one go she felt her energy start to return to her.
Sitting down behind the table with the other Lords Harry smiled at the woman that in his old world was his head of house and no nonsense transfiguration professor. “I am slightly surprised and pleased to welcome you into the ranks of masters as a second rank master of transfiguration. It has been since the time of Merlin that the Wizarding world has had a marked master.”
Glancing down at her hands at his words Minerva noticed the two brilliant marks on the back of her hands, gathering up some of her reserves she straightened up in the chair to ask a couple of questions.
“May I ask why there are two marks and what you meant by second rank master?” Minerva asked politely as she adjusted her rumpled clothing.
Nodding his head once Saero told her before Harry could open his mouth. “There are three ranks that compromise the master level, third rank is the rank normally gained upon first being tested, after some more time investing into learning new skills and building ones strength, most test again and achieve another mark on the opposite hand indicating that they have achieved second rank.
Second rank masters are more powerful and skillful than third rank masters, and in that same tradition first rank masters are those that show the most skill and knowledge in their field, and by tradition they are the ones that rule the council of masters and administer the testing to others.
Merlin was a second rank master when he left us all those years ago, though I do not know why he never came back to achieve his next ranking or send us any of his students for testing.”
Minerva sat there for a moment as she took in the information that she had just achieved the same rank Merlin had, it boggled the mind she thought, no way was she as skilled as he was.
Minerva stumbled her way out of her thoughts in time to hear, “I would expect you back for your final ranking test in eighteen months at the longest.”
Deciding to play safe and agree to the last statement Minerva simply said. “I will do my best my Lord to gain the skills necessary to achieve that rank.”
Harry looked at her in a funny way for a moment before slowly saying. “You do know I am not your Lord, at least I don’t think so?”
“In a round about way you are my Lord, as Harold Potter is my liege lord and he has sworn himself to you, it is very clear in the way these things work that you can be considered my Lord also.” Minerva told him in a matter of fact manner.
Not knowing how to respond to that and needing time to think Harry wisely just nodded his head.

Hearing the knock at his door Harry looked up from his desk and called out. “Come in.”
Watching three very nervous teens walk into his office and stop in front of his desk Harry motioned for them to sit down in the chairs on the other side of his desk.
Harry had to laugh inside at how different the terrible pranking trio were, they must have thought he was calling them into his office to talk about some prank they had set off.
Staring at the fidgeting trio Harry finally let them off the hook. “I understand you wish to be included in those going back to Hogwarts tonight for the announcement of opening up our classes to Wizarding students, so you can visit with your friends when they get off the express.”
Nodding his head along with his friends, then James remembered who he was sitting in front of and bowed his head and in a hesitant voice replied. “Yes my Lord, while dad did tell us why we would be missing this year at Hogwarts, we still would like to visit our friends and maybe during Hogsmeade weekends meet up with them.”
“Dad said he would talk to you about a way that we could leave and stay safe from Dumbledore and the ministry.” Sirius spoke as soon as James had taken a breath.
The only one of the three not fidgeting now was Remus, who was looking slightly subdued.
Watching Remus and trying to figure out why he was not as excited as the other two Harry pulled a wood box out of one of the drawers and placed it on the top of his desk
Hand on the box ready to open it Harry finally asked. “Remus is something wrong? do you not want to go visit your friends too?”
Smiling a smile that really did not fool anyone Remus shrugged his shoulder. “No it would be nice to see some of my friends again.”
“But?” Harry questioned wanting to find out what was bothering him.
Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly Remus turned away and said. “No one came looking for me, Only James and Sirius were worried and the professors would not take them seriously. Only they cared so why should I go back to that castle?”
“But Remus professor McGonagall apologized didn’t she?” James asked trying to cheer up his friend.
“It’s ok James, I am going to go along with both of you, it’s just that it won’t be the same.” Remus said softly holding back the tears.
“The wonder is gone, that and where you once felt welcomed you now feel like an outsider.” Harry told Remus causing him to turn and face him quickly.
“I do understand Remus.” Harry told him softly, more than you know he added silently thinking back to his own Hogwarts years.
“The thing to remember Remus is you are only going back to visit, not stay.” Harry told him as he opened up the small box.
Seeing Remus had better control of his emotions and making a note to call Amathal in and talk to her about helping Remus deal with the feeling of betrayal Harry pulled the first of the crystal pendants out of the box.
“Each of you will need to wear this crystal any time you leave the kingdom, it will protect you from magical attacks and things like port keys and forced Apparation.” Harry told them holding the pendant up by the chain.
Handing the first one to James who had jumped up to the edge of the desk in excitement Harry chuckled and finished his instructions. “They must be worn in a way that they have skin contact, so wear them under your shirts, and if need be use a slight sticking charm so they stay on your skin.”
Remus thanked him as he took his pendant and sat back down as Sirius stood up to get his.
“There you are. Come along boys we need to be getting a move on if we want to make it to the Kings Cross if you want to ride the train.” Harold Potter said from the doorway.
“Thank you.” Sirius and Remus said at the same time as they stood up and moved towards Mr. Potter.
“Your welcome boys have fun.” Harry told them.
James stood up finally still studying the pendant and absent mindedly added his thanks and as he reached the door muttered. “Wow now I have one exactly like Lily wears.”
Harry froze in mid motion of closing the lid of the box starring at the fourth pendant inside that he had hoped to give his mother one day.

Voldemort sat in his throne waiting for his followers to show up, he was not pleased those damned Aurors had taken out all but ten of his followers. He now didn’t have enough troops to take out the ministry in one move.
Sealing the doors with a wave of his wand after the last person had walked in Voldemort stood up and addressed his followers. “I am not pleased to hear so many of our fellows have been killed, this sets back my plans by months. As the heir of Slytherin I will not be denied my rightful place as the ruler of these sheep.”
“McNally?” Voldemort hissed out causing the man to step forward and kneel. “What of the wards around Hogwarts?”
Gulping and praying his master would not punish him for failure McNally groveled out. “My Lord the wards around Hogwarts and the grounds have changed to something I have never seen or felt before, the power behind the wards is unimaginable. Then the High Elf’s came and placed their own type of protections up around the grounds, protections not even the Unspeakables know anything about.”
Furious Voldemort stalked over to the kneeling man and raised his wand to Crucio the man for his failure.
“Please my Lord, not all is lost I did find a way for you to travel to the High Ones kingdoms.” McNally pleaded seeing the wand focused on him.
Hesitating Voldemort hissed in anger like a snake warning off a trespasser. “Tell me and I will overlook your failure this time.”
Nodding his head as he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat McNally rushed out. “There is a small circular area near where Hogsmeade and Hogwarts meet, just past the Shrieking Shack. It looks like a small version of Stonehenge. All one has to do is stand in the center and call out Sanctuary to be transported to the High Ones lands.”
“They are planning to take the best students from Hogwarts through this miniature Stonehenge to what is rumored as the largest and oldest repository of magical knowledge in the world, they plan to let these students take classes along side their own children.” McNally was still shaking as he told his lord this.
“I must warn you my lord that magic can not be used around this structure lest it kill the caster.” McNally finished and waited head bowed sweat rolling down his face.
Sitting back down in his seat Voldemort contemplated what he had just learned.
Several minutes went by as Voldemort started to plan an ingenious plan that would allow him to master forgotten magic before anyone else making him the most powerful wizard in the world.
Nodding his head at his plan Voldemort once again gave his followers his full attention. “We need to increase our numbers before we are once again strong enough to take over Wizarding Britain and protect our way of life from the Muggle threat.”
“McNally you will use your contacts at Durmstrang while I disguise myself as a sixth year to gain us access to the High Ones library, you will escort me to this hidden land acting as deputy headmaster of Durmstrang. The rest of you will go out and recruit more to our cause, you have two months.” Voldemort ordered leaving unsaid the or else if they failed him.
“Now leave me while I prepare myself.” Voldemort ordered as he unsealed the doors.

Looking up when the door to their compartment opened James smiled seeing the green eyed red head that was standing there. “Hello Lily, can I talk to you for a minute?”
Eying the messy haired teen warily Lily came in and closed the compartment door behind her. “I ran into Remus in the corridor, he mentioned you wanted to talk to me, and something about the three of you would not be attending Hogwarts this year. So why are you one the train then?”
“Have you been following any of the goings on this summer in the Herald?” James asked curious to know how much he would have to tell her.
“I know about the High Ones returning if that is what you mean.” Lily replied wistfully.
“One of the other things that has been in all the papers is my dad reclaiming the grounds and castle that belonged to my family that Hogwarts was allowed to use under certain conditions. When the board refused to fire Dumbledore after he had all his titles and positions removed from him for treason, dad pulled me as a student from Hogwarts which then reverted control of the grounds and castle back to my family.” James told her watching her closely as he did.
“Your family owns Hogwarts?” Lily asked in a shocked whisper. “Then why are we traveling to Hogwarts then if it is no longer the schools property?”
“Dad allowed the board to offer classes in the castle for one more year under several conditions, one of which is that there had to be a marked Master teaching the students and Dumbledore while he is still the Headmaster, he is not allowed on the grounds ever again.” James said as he tried to think of a way to bring up the subject he wanted too.
Confused Lily sat back in the seat and asked. “But why would he do that, I mean what purpose does it serve if the Headmaster is not allowed in the castle? He can’t even do his duties then.”
Shrugging James answered. “He can’t really, but the main reason that dad removed control of the castle and grounds from the Headmasters control was that the castle gives any Headmaster a magical boost, most times doubling their magical power and core.”
“I never read anything about that in Hogwarts a history.” Lily said softly not sure how to deal with knowing that there was a whole world hidden inside the magical one also.
“Not many do other than my family, I even didn’t know anything about it until dad told me, he said family tradition was for me to learn what he taught me this summer when I reached the age of majority.” James told her opening up some of his families secrets to the only girl he respected and liked.
“All the old families have secrets and magic’s that they only tell members of the family when they reach their majority. Dad told me the only reason he told me early was that he watched the vision of a possible future given by one of the High One seers.” James told her as the horror he still felt crossed his face even now months later.
Moving across the aisle so she was sitting next to James, Lily pulled him into a hug and asked. “Are you going to be ok?”
Nodding his head and remembering that future was not going to happen now thanks to the High Ones James settled back in his seat. “Thanks, it was hard knowing that if the High Ones had not decided to interfere that everything I knew would be lost.”
Smiling now James turned sideways in the seat to face Lily. “I promised my dad not to let the secret out ahead of time, but I am sure you will be one of the ones picked for the advanced courses that are going to be offered this year. You are going to love it.”
Nervous now James asked. “Lily, I wanted to talk to about the pendant you wear.”
Looking down at the pendant that was showing in front of her shirt Lily looked up confused and asked. “What about it? It has been in the family for as long as anyone can remember, it is supposed to bring good luck.”
Unbuttoning the top buttons of his shirt James pulled his shirt far enough apart so she could see the one he was now wearing. “I was given one exactly like it this morning from the Lord of the Fourth Kingdom of the High Ones.”
Seeing her stare at it and touch her own pendant he quickly told her. “He told me that it is magical, and would protect me from harmful spells as long as it touched my skin.”
“So mine is like…”Lily trailed off as she understood what she had been told.
Nodding his head James told her. “He told me to use a light sticking charm and Dad has forbidden me from ever leaving the kingdom without wearing it.”
Two things struck Lily from his comments one her good luck charm was magical and the other was that James had been staying with the High Ones since school let out.
Leaning forward Lily whispered as she unbuttoned the top of her blouse and placed the pendant next to her skin. “Show me the spell, please James.”
Smiling James instructed her in the proper pronunciation and told her the recommended wand movements using his finger to demonstrate.
Listening closely Lily tried the spell a few times before asking. “James where is your wand?”
Uncomfortable James muttered. “The High Ones took it away, told me to stop relying on a children’s crutch.”
Horrified hand in front of her mouth Lily whispered. “How do they expect you to do magic without a wand?”
Smiling James leaned forward to make sure no one was outside the door before turning and conjuring a rose, something he had been practicing for weeks to master.
Handing the rose to a very shocked Lily who’s mouth was moving but no words were coming out he sat back down and waited for her to say something, basking in the warm feeling when she had taken the rose and clutched it to her chest after smelling it.

James separated from Lily when they entered the great hall and agreeing to meet her for the first Hogsmeade weekend if she was not chosen as one of the advanced student to help her learn magic without a wand, James walked to the head table with Sirius and Remus.
Lily looked around for her friends as she entered the great hall and sitting down the first thing she noticed was the extra house tables, there were now seven instead of the usual four.
The second thing she noticed that the first years were being led in and seated at the empty table in the middle.
Once everyone had taken a seat Harold and Minerva stood up and walked around the head table and addressed the students.
“I want to welcome everyone to another year of Hogwarts and thank Harold Potter for the use of his school for one more year while Hogwarts finds a new location to hold classes.” Minerva said as the students quieted down.
“There are going to be many new and exciting things that will be happening this year and for most of you that choose to transfer from Hogwarts to Mr. Potters new school the chance to learn from the High Ones themselves.” Minerva told the shocked students.
“Tonight and tomorrow your teachers and head of houses will be available to answer your questions about the new school and some of the things that will be taught. Also my son James and his two friends have been studying with the High Ones all summer and will be around to answer some of your questions. I would hope by Monday most of you will have had a chance to make up your minds and talk to your parents, who you may invite to stop by this weekend to hear about the changes in person.” Harold told them as he smiled down at his son and friends who were now blushing.
“So that said lets eat.” Harold told them before clapping his hands to let the house elves know to send the food to the tables.
Sitting back down and filling their plates Minerva and Harold made small talk as they watched the stunned students start to talk amongst themselves.
